Fueling the Future: Puffer-Sweiven's Role in Empowering Young Energy Innovators

March 25, 2025

Puffer-Sweiven is proud to support innovation and the next generation of energy leaders! During the Energy Venture Day and Pitch Competition at CERAWeek, five student-led ventures showcased their groundbreaking energy and climate tech solutions, competing for the prestigious TEX-E Prize and cash award.

This dynamic event brought together investors, energy ventures, and corporate leaders at the forefront of energy transition innovation. The TEX-E Prize, co-hosted with the Houston Energy Transition Initiative (HETI) and the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, highlights the incredible potential of these young innovators.

We are thrilled to have sponsored the third place prize, which was awarded to Pattern Materials (pictured with our very own Mike Berckenhoff), and to be part of such an impactful event that fosters collaboration and shapes the future of global energy markets and technology.
