There are several types of mixers available depending on the applications.  Eductors (jet pumps) are often used for circulation, agitation, heating and mixing of tanks.   Direct and gear drive mixers are common for mixing various types of chemicals.  Static mixers are used to blend both solids and other liquids such as chemicals.  There are several other mixing technologies available to support a wide variety of processes.  Choosing the right mixer is important to optimizing the process and minimizing cost impacts.
